Transit Unplugged TV Wins Second World Wide Web (w3) Gold Award for Travel Video Excellence

New York, NY (September 30, 2025)Transit Unplugged TV has been honored with the w3 Gold Award for Outstanding Travel Video for its special episode, “Ultimate Guide to Exploring Washington, DC via Public Transit.” This is the second year in a row that Transit Unplugged TV won gold in this category.

The award-winning episode takes viewers on an immersive journey through Washington, DC, showing how to experience the sights and sounds of the nation’s capital by using public transportation. Host Paul Comfort guides audiences to monuments, museums, restaurants, and entertainment spots, with insights from Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) CEO Randy Clarke on navigating the Metro system.

“We really enjoyed creating this special “How Do I Get There?” episode of the show,” said Producer and Host Paul Comfort. “We wanted to show everyone who loves to travel how public transit is an easy, enjoyable, and affordable way to navigate cities around the globe. It’s the best way to travel.”

The recognition places Transit Unplugged TV among the best in global travel media.
